Historic Homes Tour and Dinner

    at the Newbold-White House

​For many years now, the Perquimans County Restoration Association has been holding a JOLLIFICATION! either in downtown Hertford, Belvidere,

or out and about in the county at large.  This event is a wonderful way to

view historic homes and sites that would otherwise never be open to you

if not for the generosity of the owners.  See how other people decorate and live, learn the unique history of the home and perhaps even hear about the quirks or the ghosts! This year's tour runs from Noon to 5pm and starts at the Visitor's Center at the Newbold-White House site, AND includes the

historic 1730 home along with one in the town of Hertford

and several out in the county.

At 5:30pm the day is topped off with a BBQ dinner under the tent in 

front of the 1730 Newbold-White House - From Route 17, take Harvey Point Road east for about one mile, turn left on Newbold-White Road.

Before and after dinner you will be treated to live music by the band Uphill!

You will also have an opportunity to participate in a Silent Auction

of Gift Baskets, and perhaps a cake auction too!
