1730 Vineyard

Abraham Sanders, a Quaker, purchased the farm then known as the Vineyard in 1727.  Around 1730, on this tract, Sanders built the dwelling now known as the Newbold-White House.  It is one of the oldest standing buildings in North Carolina.
